Police are appealing to the public for assistance after an inflatable kayak and a number of personal items were located abandoned at Hays Inlet at Pine River in the Moreton Bay area this morning (June 17).
The orange inflatable kayak (pictured) containing an esky, food and other personal items was found at approximately 10am anchored to a brick.
An immediate search of the area was conducted however no persons associated with the kayak have yet been located.
Police appeal to anyone who recognises the kayak and may have information in relation to the owner and their whereabouts to immediately come forward.
