A statement from Brimbank City Council Mayor, Cr Georgina Papafotiou
Council is aware there are concerns amongst some community members about odours believed to be coming from the Kealba landfill site.
The landfill site is an EPA licensed site.
Council has been in contact with the EPA about concerns raised about the site and we understand the EPA has been investigating and is currently monitoring air quality in the area and looks forward to working with all parties in making sure the community are kept up to date with what is happening on site.
