A huge congratulations to everyone involved in the Kempsey Regional Saleyards infrastructure upgrade, which has been named a finalist in the NSW Local Government Excellence Awards.
The project has been recognised in the Asset and Infrastructure category, standing out as one of just 10 finalists in the Projects over $1.5 million – Population Under 100,000. This achievement reflects the dedication, collaboration and hard work of all staff who contributed to bringing the upgrade to life.
The excellence awards seek to recognise initiatives that maximise benefits to the community, showcasing projects that develop and manage community assets.
Winners will be announced at the Local Government Awards Dinner on Thursday, 4 June 2026.
