About 7:15pm tonight, Monday 25 September 2023, police were called to a residence in Pitt Street, Kensington in relation to concerns for the welfare of a woman.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers located an unresponsive adult male person, and immediately commenced providing him emergency first aid.
St John WA personnel attended and took over the provision of emergency first aid, however the man could not be revived and died at the scene.
The woman was located nearby, and her welfare has been confirmed.
An adult male person was arrested at the scene, and is assisting with the investigation. He has been taken to hospital for treatment of an injury not related to his arrest.
It is believed the three people at the scene are known to each other, however the exact relationship between them is yet to be confirmed.
