A meeting was held this afternoon between The Hon Chris Minns MP, Premier of New South Wales, and the leadership of the Goulburn Mulwaree Council. The meeting, taking place at the Council Civic Centre was a crucial opportunity for discussing regional development and community initiatives.

Joining Premier Minns were Minister Tara Moriarty and Mr. Bob Nanva MLC, ensuring a wide-ranging representation from the state government. The Goulburn Mulwaree Council was represented by Mayor Peter Walker, Deputy Mayor Steven Ruddell, and Chief Executive Officer Aaron Johansson.

The meeting focused on a variety of strategic initiatives and priority projects for the Goulburn Mulwaree region. Mayor Walker discussed with the party Council’s Advocacy Plan and priority projects, the historic Kenmore site and future development, opportunities to grow out local TAFE and the future of the Goulburn Corrections Facility.

Premier Minns, along with Minister Moriarty and Mr. Nanva, engaged in in-depth discussions with the Council leaders, acknowledging the importance of the issues raised and expressing a strong commitment to supporting the Region’s goals. The meeting underscored the state government’s dedication to ensuring that the unique needs of the Goulburn Mulwaree community are met.
