Perth Detectives have charged a woman in relation to three indecent assault incidents in Kings Park yesterday, Saturday 2 November 2024.
Incident One: About 6:40am, a woman aged in her 50s was at the War Memorial in Kings Park with family members when she was approached by an unknown woman. It will be alleged the woman indecently assaulted the victim two times, before taking the victim’s mobile phone from a tripod and throwing it into the water that surrounds the Eternal Flame.
Incident Two: About 6:50am, a woman aged in her 50s was walking her dog near the War Memorial at Kings Park when she was approached by an unknown woman. It will be alleged the woman forcibly took hold of the victim and kicked and punched her a number of times, before striking her to the face with a water bottle and indecently assaulting her twice. It will be further alleged the woman kicked the victim’s dog, causing it to loudly yelp and run away. It will be further alleged the woman took hold of the victim again and attempted to force dog biscuits into her mouth, before stealing one of the victim’s sandals.
Incident Three: About 7:00am, a woman aged in her 70s was at the War Memorial in Kings Park with a friend when she was approached by an unknown woman. It will be alleged the woman indecently assaulted the victim, before placing her arm around the victim’s neck, causing her to have difficulty breathing.
Police attended the scene and arrested a 41-year-old woman in relation to the three incidents. She has since been charged by Perth Detectives with:
– 5 x Unlawful and Indecent Assault
– 1 x Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm
– 1 x Impeded another person’s normal breathing or blood circulation by blocking nose or mouth
– 1 x Common Assault
– 1 x Cruelty to Animals
– 1 x Stealing
– 1 x Criminal Damage or Destruction of Property
She was refused bail and is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court today, Sunday 3 November 2024.

Police attended the scene and arrested a 41-year-old woman in relation to the three incidents. She has since been charged by Perth Detectives with:
