A man is missing following a house fire in Sydney’s east overnight.
Emergency services were called to a home on Leonard Avenue, Kingsford just before 2am (Saturday 22 June 2019), after reports a house was on fire.
Fire & Rescue NSW officers extinguished the blaze; however, the home has been completely destroyed.
Emergency services are still searching for a male resident who is unaccounted for at this time.
Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command remain on site. Police and fire investigators will search the scene once it has been deemed safe.
The cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
