The National Parks and Wildlife Service has issued a leave notice for Kosciuszko National Park including resorts and all places located within Kosciuszko National Park.
All people must exit Kosciuszko National Park boundaries before 10am tomorrow (Friday 3 January).
The leave notice comes ahead of predicted bad fire weather on Saturday and multiple fires already in and near the park.
Evacuation Centres are at:
- Tumut – Club Tumut Bowling Club
- Cooma – Showground Multi-Function Centre.
