Homicide Squad and Gang Crime Squad are investigating an incident at Kwinana Motorplex that occurred at about 8:40pm last night, 13 December 2020.
A 51-year-old man was conveyed to Rockingham Hospital but died as a result of his injures. A 31-year-old man was also injured and conveyed to hospital where he is currently being treated for nonlife-threatening injuries.
An 8-year-old boy who was in the company of the two men (but is not related to them) received a minor wound that did not require medical attention.
Police are calling for any witnesses from the Motorplex, or who may have seen any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area at the time, to please call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to make a report online at crimestopperswa.com.au. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
