The Macedon Ranges resident held one of the 11 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4687, drawn Saturday 20 June 2026, and looks forward to a total prize of $1,818,181.82.
When we reached out to confirm her newfound millionaire status, the long-time player could barely find the words to describe the moment.
“Woo! That’s so exciting!” she cheered.
“I’m here with my son who has driven over an hour to come help me!
“I missed a few calls from The Lott earlier this morning and couldn’t work out why, so I went to the newsagency where I bought my ticket.
“They checked it for me, told me to hold on to it tight, and said I needed to call The Lott.
“My brain isn’t working! I’m very stunned. It’s totally unexpected. I’ve been playing since 1972 – a very long time coming!”
While the enormity of her win was still sinking in, the grandmother said one thing was certain: she couldn’t wait to share the joy with her nearest and dearest.
“I’ve got a big family, so I’ll be sharing it,” she exclaimed.
“Thank you very much!”
Her marked 12-game winning entry was purchased at Collins Authorised News & Lotto, 95 Mollison Street, Kyneton.
