Australian Conservatives Release
The Liberal Party has received a boost in its bid to retain the marginal South Australian seat of Boothby, with a new poll finding it six points ahead of Labor.
Conservative Party leader Cory Bernardi says incumbent Liberal MP Nicolle Flint , deserves to win because she’s been a good local member, and that’s reflected in the Liberals’ 53-47 margin over Labor on a two-party preferred basis, according to The Advertiser’s latest YouGov Galaxy poll.
Senator Bernardi has told Chris Kenny on Sky News he thinks the polling for Boothby is accurate and he’s expecting an increase in support for the Coalition’s James Stevens in Christopher Pyne’s former seat of Sturt.
