The Gwydir Highway has reopened in both directions between Biniguy and Warialda, but remains closed between Moree and Biniguy due to flooding.
The Mid Western Highway has also reopened between Goolgowi and Rankin Springs, but remains closed between Rankin Springs and West Wyalong.
Lachlan Valley Way has also closed in both directions between Forbes and Gooloogong.
Several other major roads remain closed due to flooding across regional NSW, with motorists reminded to take extreme care in flood-affected areas, and never drive through floodwaters.

In the state’s North:
- The Gwydir Highway is also closed between Moree and Collarenebri.
- The Carnarvon Highway is closed between Moree, Garah and Mungindi
- The Newell Highway is closed between Narrabri and Boggabilla
- The Kamilaroi Highway is closed between Bourke and Walgett; between Wee Waa and Merah North; between Wee Waa and Narrabri, and between Gunnedah and Boggabri
- The Oxley Highway is closed between Gunnedah and Carroll, as well as between Warren and Collie (west of Gilgandra)
In the Central West:
- Lachlan Valley Way is also closed between Cowra and Gooloogong, as well as between Jemalong and the Newell Highway, south west of Forbes
In the state’s Far West:
- The Cobb Highway is closed between Wilcannia and Ivanhoe.
- The Silver City Highway is open to 4WDs only between Broken Hill and Packsaddle.
In the state’s South:
- Monaro Highway is closed at Bunyan, just north of Cooma, as well as at Sharp Street in Cooma.
- The Sturt Highway is closed between Darlington Point and Collingullie.
- The Newell Highway is closed between Jerilderie and Gillenbah.
- The Riverina Highway is closed between Federation Way and Bull Plain Road near Coreen.
On the NSW/Victorian border:
- Dhungala Bridge (Cobb Highway) is closed southbound at Moama.
