The accolade further cements what so many already know about Launceston, but now the secret is well and truly out.
With world class wineries, restaurants and attractions on offer, coupled with the welcoming nature of the Launceston community, there is no surprise that Launceston has claimed this prestigious title.
The awards are determined by data that considers accommodation, affordability, quality and traveller satisfaction.
Importantly, it follows Launceston being recognised globally as it was named as the newest City of Gastronomy as part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network late last year.
Congratulations to Launceston’s diverse and vibrant food and wine producers and businesses, who have worked hard to establish Launceston as a premiere destination.
