Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash which occurred just south of Leeman today, Tuesday 29 November 2023.
About 5.10am, a white Toyota LandCruiser station wagon was travelling in a southerly direction on Indian Ocean Drive when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled several times.
The 17-year-old male driver sustained critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
An 18-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.
Two male passengers – aged 16 and 20 – were taken to Jurien Bay Hospital by St John WA for treatment.
