Read all about it – the Yarra Plenty Regional Library Service, including the Eltham and Diamond Valley branches, have reopened.

Health and safety restrictions will be in place as part of stage two of the libraries’ reopening and visitors will notice several changes.

Opening hours will vary for each branch, please check the library website, with all branches closed for cleaning between 2pm and 3pm each day.

Visitor numbers will be limited to a maximum of 20 users per library space, with visits limited to one hour.

The Mobile Library will continue to operate with normal stops, with a limit of three users in the vehicle at any time.

Computer use is limited to one hour, and Tech Help is by phone only. Visitors with complicated library queries should phone the library first for assistance.

Book returns are through the 24/7 return chutes.

Most importantly, visitors should wash their hands before and after attending the branches, maintain social distancing at all times and do not come to the library, or use the return chutes, if feeling unwell.

Full details of branch reopenings can be found here.
