The storm this afternoon has had a significant impact on multiple branches of Monash Public Library Service and as a result, Wheelers Hill, Oakleigh and Clayton Libraries will close for the remainder of the day (Friday 28 January), as well as all day tomorrow (Saturday 29 January).
While Mount Waverley Library has sustained some water damage, customers are still able to safely use most of the library. Some collections will not be accessible.
Glen Waverley Library has been unaffected by the storm, and Mulgrave remains closed for a library upgrade.
