Library staff can help accessing your proof of vaccination

If you are finding it difficult to access or display your COVID-19 vaccination certificate, help is available through the Warrnambool Library.

The Library has developed a simple guide which explains how to access your vaccination certificate. The guide is available at the library and online.

People can also receive help by booking a one-on-one session during the Computer Connected program, which runs on Monday mornings, or with a Jobs Victoria advocate who will be available Monday to Wednesday, 1pm to 4pm, until the end of October.

Library staff are also able to provide advice during library opening hours.

Warrnambool Mayor Cr Vicki Jellie said it was understandable that people could be having trouble with the vaccination certificates.

“This is a new experience for everyone,” Cr Jellie said.

“But there are options for everyone whether you have a smartphone or whether you prefer to have a printed vaccination certificate.

“The online and smartphone options are very convenient once they are set up but there are a few steps to go through.

“That’s where the library team can help. They can guide you through the process of obtaining your certificate which will mean that you can then easily access and enjoy the places and facilities that require proof of vaccination.”
