‘Live at the Libraries’ returns with free live music across Latrobe City

Residents are invited to enjoy free live music at Latrobe City Libraries as part of the Live at the Libraries program, running from October to December 2026.

The series of family-friendly performances celebrates local Gippsland talent and brings communities together through music in a welcoming library setting. No bookings are required; visitors can simply drop in and enjoy the performances.

Latrobe City Mayor, Councillor Sharon Gibson said the program was a great way to showcase local musicians while encouraging people to visit their local libraries.

“Live at the Libraries combines two wonderful things – great local talent and our valued library spaces,” Cr Gibson said.

“These free performances provide an opportunity for people of all ages to enjoy live music with others and experience something different at their local library.”

The program includes:

  • Saturday 17 October 2026 – Morwell Library, 9am to 12noon, featuring Simply Classical
  • Saturday 21 November 2026 -Traralgon Library, 9am to 12noon, featuring Simply Classical
  • Saturday 19 December 2026 – Moe Library, 9am to 12noon, featuring Vivace String Quartet (Christmas Edition)
