The number of lives lost on our State’s roads has been revised from 79 to 78 following the investigation into a death at Edinburgh North late last week.
The death of a 60-year-old man involved in a crash at Winterslow Road on Sunday 3 September has been determined to be due to medical issues.
The man’s death will not be counted in the ‘Lives Lost’ road total.
The current number of Lives Lost is 78 compared to 52 at the same time last year.
