Lives lost total revised: Mount Barker

The number of lives lost on South Australian roads has been revised following an investigation into the death of a man at Mount Barker in May.

About 9.40am on Monday 15 May, police and emergency services were called to Adelaide Road after a Ford utility veered off the road and collided with road signs and a street light.

The driver and sole occupant of the Ford, a 75-year-old man from Milang, sadly died at the scene.

His death has been determined to be due to medical issues.

As a result, the man’s death will not be counted in the number of ‘Lives Lost’ on SA roads.

The current number of lives lost is 104 compared to 65 at the same time last year.
