Loaded gun, drugs, licences and credit cards seized during Coffs Harbour search warrant, NSW

A man has been charged after a loaded gun, ammunition, drugs, and multiple drivers licences and credit cards were seized during a search warrant at Coffs Harbour yesterday.

Officers attached to the Coffs Harbour Region Enforcement Squad, Target Action Group and detectives attended a home on the Pacific Highway, Coffs Harbour, shortly after 12pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 March 2019), to execute a search warrant.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

Police then searched the home and seized a number of items including methylamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a loaded rifle and ammunition, as well as driver’s licences and credit cards, believed to be stolen.

The man has been charged with possess prohibited drug (three counts), possess or use a prohibited weapon without permit, possess unregistered firearm-not prohibited firearm/pistol, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, and goods suspected stolen in/on premises, as well as a breach of bail.

He was refused bail to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court today (Wednesday 13 March 2019).
