Local suppliers can become more familiar with Horsham Rural Council City’s e-Procure platform at an online information session next week.
HRCC uses the eProcure portal to manage all of its tenders and quotes.
The 30-minute demonstration will be presented next Wednesday at 12noon. Host Sherryl Kiely from eProcure will provide step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the online portal.
A question-and-answer session will be held after completion of the demonstration.
Mayor Robyn Gulline said Council was committed to engaging Wimmera-based suppliers.
“This session is ideal for any business that is looking at becoming a Council supplier. It will cover information on how the quoting and tendering process works, supplier requirements and any opportunities Council has for businesses,” she said.
“Supporting local businesses is a focus at Council and we want to do what we can to give businesses the tools they need to take part in the Council tender process,” Cr Gulline said.
