Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) has amended the local fire ban to remove Mackay Regional Council. A local fire ban remains in place for Whitsunday, Isaac, Central Highlands, Woorabinda, Banana, Gladstone, Livingstone and Rockhampton Local Government Areas.
