EARLIER: Please be advised the local fire ban currently declared in the Sunshine Coast and Noosa Regional Council areas is cancelled from 2pm today (Saturday,18 January).
The local fire ban remains in place for residents in the North Burnett, South Burnett, Cherbourg, Gympie, Fraser Coast and Bundaberg Local Government Areas.
EARLIER: Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) has extended a local fire ban for North Coast Region residents.
