The best of the local business community has been celebrated at the 2023 Hobsons Bay Business Excellence Awards.
Seven businesses were recognised at the gala event at Hobsons Bay Civic Centre on Wednesday 25 October 2023.
The biennial awards are designed to showcase and celebrate the great work being done in the Hobsons Bay business community, which is made up of more than 8,000 businesses and provides more than 40,000 local jobs.
The 2023 winners were:
Excellence in customer experience: Renew Hair – Hair Salon
Creating social change and diversity: TreeHaus Williamstown
Excellence in sustainability and circular economy: Gedlec Energy Pty Ltd
New/start-up business: Oculus Dexter Optometry Pty Ltd
Home-based business: A Focused Birth
Excellence in innovation: Treehab Tiny Houses Pty Ltd
Mayoral award – service to the community: Assist Ability Australia Vic Pty Ltd (pictured)
