The Local Jobs, Local People Grants address local employment needs by funding local activities that support people to access training, secure employment and build pathways to sustainable jobs across Australia.
A total of 49 organisations across Australia have been successful in the grant process.
The projects will be aligned to the workforce needs of each region, helping job seekers move into work while supporting local employers to meet workforce needs.
“These grants will benefit job seekers, employers and local businesses by delivering practical, community-led solutions that respond directly to local workforce requirements.”
