Santa rules in December – but pop superstar Guy Sebastian will steal some of the festive limelight as he headlines a huge morning of free entertainment in the City of Logan.

The talented singer and inaugural Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian will perform at the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct as part of radio station B105’s Santa in the suburbs on Friday, December 1.

The free event on the outdoor stage from 6am until 9am, will be presented by Breakfast hosts, Stav, Abby and Matt, and is supported by Logan City Council.

Photos with Santa, a llama-petting zoo and giveaways will add to the excitement.

A selection of food trucks will serve free breakfast and coffee.

The winner of B105’s Brisbane’s Best Café competition will also be announced.

City of Logan Mayor Darren Power said Guy Sebastian’s guest appearance and the B105 broadcast will be one of the biggest events hosted by the Kingston Butter Factory Cultural Precinct since it opened in 2022.

“It’s going to be fantastic to see the KBF outdoor stage and precinct come alive with a free morning of entertainment and fun,” Cr Power said.

“Logan is looking forward to welcoming Stav, Abby and Matt, the B105 crew, and families from across South East Queensland to our city next week.”

“We are so excited to end the year on a high with our Santa in the Suburbs show – we do this every year and it’s the best way to celebrate our amazing listeners, and Guy Sebastian will put on an incredible show. The amount of freebies we have for this is insane, you don’t want to miss it,” Stav, Abby and Matt said.

On-site parking is limited and attendees are encouraged to use a free shuttle bus that will run between the Logan Entertainment Centre and the KBF Cultural Precinct from 5:30am. A return service will also operate.

The venue is adjacent to Kingston Train Station with free train travel to the event on offer. To book a free train ticket, visit the LoganArts website.

This is an alcohol-free and pet-free event.
