Lyle Shelton to run for NSW Parliament

Family First

Family First National Director Lyle Shelton has announced today he will run as an independent for the New South Wales Legislative Council at the March 25 election.

“Families need a voice who will fight for them –

  • for freedom for their faith
  • for affordable and reliable electricity
  • for life for our most vulnerable
  • and for a return to teaching the basics in schools. We just need to let girls be girls and boys be boys,” Mr Shelton said.

“The question for voters at this election is who will protect your family from the threat of radical political correctness?”

Mr Shelton said misguided energy policy is making living unaffordable and radical social policy is harming children.

“Freedom of religion and speech have been trampled by woke authoritarianism. This must be reversed.

“Affordable electricity, home ownership, safe sport and spaces for women and girls must be restored.

“The major parties have abandoned family, freedom and economic reality.”

New South Wales electoral laws do not allow the re-birthed Family First Party to be registered in time for the March 25 election.

“But you can put your family first by voting for the independent Lyle Shelton group on the Legislative Council ballot paper.

“I look forward to serving the people of NSW as together we fight for a better future for our families,” Mr Shelton said.
