Mahogany Creek – Fatal Crash

Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred last night, Friday 15 May 2020 in Mahogany Creek.

Around 7.45pm, a blue Ford Falcon sedan was travelling west on Great Eastern Highway near Homestead Road, when the vehicle collided with a blue Nissan Skyline travelling east. As a result of the collision the Nissan Skyline split in two.

The 21-year-old female front seat passenger of the Nissan Skyline received life threatening injuries and was conveyed to Midland Hospital where she died a short time later. The 23-year-old male driver of the Nissan Skyline received life threatening injuries and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital with head and chest injuries.

The 23-year-old male driver of the Ford Falcon was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. A 19-year-old male passenger was also conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries. A teenage female passenger was uninjured.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the blue Ford Falcon, or blue Nissan Skyline travelling in the area prior to the crash.
