We have installed a parklet opposite Theatre Place in Canterbury for the whole community to enjoy.
The parklet is a temporary space filled with greenery and comfortable seating where you can, meet, connect and relax in amongst Maling Road’s unique stores, cafes and restaurants.
The parklet is expected to be up until March 2021, with the possibility to extend until June 2021 based on community and trader feedback.
This forms part of our commitment to revitalising Maling Road through placemaking.
Come down and enjoy the great new space and linger longer in your local shopping strip. If you’re there in the evening, be sure to notice the eye-catching tree lighting along the strip as well.
