Man arrested over bakery break-in, South Australia

A man was arrested after allegedly breaking into a city bakery overnight.

A member of the public located a smashed window and opened door at a business in Topham Mall, Adelaide about 11.30pm on Tuesday 20 November and alerted police.

Patrols attended and discovered cash had been stolen from the till. Police used CCTV cameras to allegedly track the suspect to the Casino and he was arrested leaving the premises just after 12.30am.

The 45-year-old man of no fixed address was charged with serious criminal trespass and theft. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
