A man will be extradited after being arrested over multiple interstate warrants in the state’s west yesterday.
About 5pm on Saturday (20 June 2026), officers attached to Barrier Police District received information a 30-year-old man with outstanding interstate warrants was currently in NSW.
Following extensive inquiries, about 3pm yesterday (Monday 22 June 2026), detectives – with assistance from the Rural Crime Prevention Team and General Duties – attended a caravan park in Broken Hill.
A short time later, the 30-year-old man was arrested.
During the search, police allegedly located and seized a bow and arrow and a small amount of cannabis.
The 30-year-old was taken to Broken Hill Police Station where he was charged by virtue of an interstate warrant.
He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Local Court 4 today (Tuesday 23 June 2026).
