Man assaulted in car park in Hindley Street, South Australia

A man is in the Royal Adelaide Hospital following a serious assault in a Hindley Street car park early this morning.

Just before 3.30am, Sunday 21 July police were tasked to a car park on Hindley Street after receiving reports of a disturbance. When police arrived they located an unconscious male with head injuries.

The male was treated at the scene by paramedics before being transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remains in a critical but stable condition.

The incident occurred in a car park that runs between Woodsons Lane and Hindley Street, and police ask anyone who may have witnessed the assault or was in the area at the time and noticed any suspicious behaviour, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au
