A man will face court today charged following a vehicle stop yesterday afternoon.
About 3.45pm (Monday 22 June 2026), police stopped a vehicle in the Manning-Great Lakes area for roadside testing.
The alleged driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man, underwent a roadside drug test that allegedly returned a positive result to cocaine.
The driver underwent a secondary oral fluid sample that will be sent for further analysis.
Following inquiries, officers commenced a search of the vehicle.
During the search, police allegedly located and seized $1740 cash and approximately 20kg of ketamine.
The ketamine has an estimated potential street value of $1 million.
The man was arrested and taken to Forster Police Station where he was charged with take part supply prohibited drug (greater than or equal to large commercial quantity), possess prohibited drug, and recklessly deal with proceeds of crime (less than or equal to $5000).
He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 1 today (Tuesday 23 June 2026).
