Man charged after alleged stabbing, NSW

A man has been charged after another man was allegedly stabbed in Sydney’s south west.

About 9.30pm on Wednesday 26 December 2018, emergency services were called to Lawson Road, Pheasants Nest, following reports of an assault outside a home.

Police will allege two men – aged 26 and 29 – were involved in an altercation when the younger man stabbed the older man several times.

The injured man was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The 26-year-old man was located with minor head injuries, before being arrested and taken to Campbelltown Hospital in a stable condition.

He was later released and taken to Narellan Police Station and charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and reckless wounding.

The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today (Friday 28 December 2018).
