Man charged after allegedly stalking teenage girl – Doonside

A man has been charged after allegedly stalking a teenage girl in Sydney’s west last month.

On Thursday 12 February 2026, officers from Blacktown Police Area Command commenced an investigation following reports a 17-year-old girl had been approached by a man on Hill Road, Doonside.

Police were told about 11.45am that day, a man driving a black SUV allegedly stopped beside the girl and asked for directions to the train station. After she provided the information, the man allegedly handed her money before driving away.

A short time later, the man returned, parked nearby, and again approached the girl. He allegedly asked for her underwear and then made a further inappropriate request.

The teenage girl ran from the area and contacted police.

Following inquiries, about 3:10pm yesterday (Thursday 5 June 2026), detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Orwell Street, Blacktown.

During the search, police allegedly located and seized a black Kia Sorento, two mobile phones, and women’s underwear hidden in the vehicle.

A 42-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Blacktown Police Station, where he was charged with stalk/intimidate with intent to cause fear of physical harm.

He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear before Blacktown Local Court on Thursday 26 March 2026.
