A 27-year-old man from Queenstown has been charged with firearm and drug offences following a targeted search of his property yesterday.
Police from Queenstown executed a search warrant on Wednesday, locating what police will allege are two homemade firearms, firearm parts, gel blasters, illicit drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The man was arrested and charged with multiple firearm and drug offences.
He was bailed to appear before the Queenstown Magistrates Court on 7 September.
Police remain committed to addressing the unlawful possession and manufacture of firearms, and the supply and possession of illicit drugs to help reduce harm and enhance community safety.
