Man charged following investigation into alleged sexual touching on a Sydney ferry

A man will face Court after being charged following a police investigation into an alleged sexual touching in Sydney’s west.

Officers attached to Police Transport Command commenced an investigation following reports an 18-year-old man was sexually touched by an unknown man on a ferry between Huntleys Point Wharf to Rydalmere Wharf about 3.30pm on Thursday 23 October 2025.

Following inquiries, about 2.40pm today (Saturday 6 December 2025), police arrested a 48-year-old man at Bankstown Police Station.

He was charged with aggravated sexually touch another person.

He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 7, today, Sunday 7 December 2025
