Man charged following investigation into moped, trail bike riding offences – Mt Druitt

A man has been charged over a number of alleged dangerous driving offences in Sydney’s west, under Strike Force Kinetx.

Strike Force Kinetx was established in September 2026 to investigate and target the ongoing use of illegal mopeds and trail bike riding offences in the Mt Druitt area.

During a proactive tasking under the strike force, on Tuesday 6 October 2026, police attempted to stop several unregistered motorcycles on the Great Western Highway, Faulconbridge.

The riders, who were filming their behaviour, fled the scene; however, left behind a camera.

Police located and seized the camera, which underwent forensic examination, identifying 96 gigabytes of footage of alleged dangerous riding and criminal activities.

Following further inquiries, about 6am today (Tuesday 13 October 2026), officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command Proactive Crime Team executed a search warrant at a home on Ropes Creek Road, Mt Druitt.

During the search, police located and seized a number of items, allegedly including 160g of cannabis leaf and 80g of crystalised substance, believed to be methylamphetamine.
