A man has been charged over multiple alleged break and enters in the state’s Mid North Coast this year.
In September 2026, officers attached to Mid North Coast Police District established Strike Force Mentix to investigate multiple break, enter and steal offences targeting holiday accommodation premises within the Nambucca Heads area between May and September 2026.
Following inquiries, investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Blue Gum Street, Nambucca Heads, about 10am today (Friday 2 October 2026).
A 22-year-old man was arrested at the home, and taken to Kempsey Police Station where he was charged with;
– Attempt Aggravated break and enter with intent – knowing person there (three counts),
– Aggravated break and enter with intent – knowing person there (three counts), and
– breach of bail.
He was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 1 tomorrow (Saturday 3 October 2026).
