Man charged with 16 offences following theft investigation in Eastern Beaches

A man has been charged with 16 offences following an ongoing theft investigation in the Eastern Beaches.

Just after 8am on Tuesday 18 December 2018, detectives from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a unit on Mirrabooka Crescent, Little Bay, following an investigation into multiple property offences.

A number of items were seized including a number of mobile phones, laptops, credit cards, iPads, two stolen motorbikes and various other stolen property.

Following further inquiries, about 12pm yesterday (Friday 28 December 2018), Eastern Beaches detectives attended a unit on The Grand Parade, Brighton Le Sands, where they arrested a 30-year-old-man.

The man was taken to Kogarah Police Station where he was charged with 16 offences including goods in personal custody suspected being stolen x5, receiving stolen property x6, possess prohibited drug, larceny, steal motor vehicle x2 and disposing of stolen property.

He was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today (Saturday 29 December 2018).
