A man has died and another has been taken to hospital after their boat capsized in Kalimna this morning.
Emergency services were called to Reeves Channel off Princes Hwy after passing boats spotted the men in trouble just before 10am.
One of the men was pulled from the water unconscious and despite the best efforts of good Samaritans, died on the scene.
The second man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both are yet to be formally identified.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
