A man has died following a crash in the state’s west today.
About 10am (Tuesday 7 July 2026), emergency services were called to the Kamilaroi Highway, about 20km west of Narrabri, following reports of a crash involving three vehicles.
Upon arrival, police were told a truck has collided with a caravan, before colliding with a ute.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended, however the driver of the truck – a man – was located deceased.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The occupants of the ute and caravan were uninjured.
Officers attached to Oxley Police District have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
