A man has died following a fatal crash in Sydney’s south west this morning.
About 6.30am (Saturday 10 October 2026), emergency services were called to Picton Road, Wilton, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to Camden Police Area Command attended and were told two vehicles had collided head on, trapping both drivers.
A driver – a man believed to be aged in his late teens – was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The other driver – a 26-year-old man – was freed from the vehicle by Fire and Rescue NSW and treated at the scene for head and leg injuries.
He was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
