Man dies after Norlane collision

A man has died in hospital following a collision in Norlane on 14 October.

Two vehicles, an orange Holden sedan and a silver Ford sedan, collided on the Princes Highway in Norlane about 5.20pm.

The driver of the Ford, a 68-year-old Norlane man, was taken to hospital after sustaining serious injuries but died on 22 October.

The driver of the Holden, a 33-year-old man from Lovely Banks, had been charged with dangerous driving causing injury.

These charges will now be reviewed after he was bailed to attend the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 21 October.

Investigators have spoken to the driver of a late-model silver Holden station wagon that was allegedly seen travelling on the Princes Highway with the orange Holden sedan prior to the collision.
