Man dies after presenting at Bendigo hospital in a critical condition

A 30-year-old man has died after he was dropped off at a Bendigo hospital with suspected gunshot wounds on 5 July.

Police were called to the hospital about 8.40pm with the Spring Gully man in a critical condition.

He has since died in hospital.

Homicide Squad detectives continue to investigate and are yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding how the man obtained his injuries.

Investigators have spoken to a number of people of interest and the investigation remains ongoing.

Local police will be proactively conducting patrols of the area throughout the week.
