A man has died in hospital and another remains in a stable condition after they were allegedly stabbed by a teenager on Sydney’s Lower North Shore today.
Emergency services were called to a religious centre on Greville Street, near Fullers Road, Chatswood, just after 12.30pm (Thursday 3 January 2019), following reports of a stabbing in the driveway of the centre.
The two injured men were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.
One of the men, aged in his 20s, died in hospital.
The other man remains in a stable condition for treatment of a minor injury.
Officers from North Shore Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 16-year-old boy arrested at the scene continues to assist with inquiries at Chatswood Police Station.
