Police are currently at the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash in Mitta Mitta.
Police have been told the man was riding his motorcycle with a group travelling to Mount Beauty yesterday.
It is believed the rider was travelling along the Omeo Highway when he lost control of his motorbike and veered off the road, 20km south of Mitta Mitta.
The male rider, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
Emergency services searched the area and found the man at 10.30am this morning.
Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash.
