Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man at a Edithvale beach this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to reports a man had been pulled unresponsive from the water at Edithvale Beach, off the Denman Avenue, about 3pm.
A 77-year-old man from Ireland died at the scene.
