A man has died following a single vehicle crash in the state’s south.
About 12.20am today (Saturday 9 October 2021), emergency services were called to the intersection of The Wool Road and Lamar Avenue, following reports a Mitsubishi ute had struck a tree.
The 41-year-old male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
Officers from South Coast Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
